It was a typical sleepover with friends, filled with movies, popcorn, and giggles.
But as the night wore on,
one of the girls began to have vivid nightmares.
She dreamt of a shadowy figure standing at the foot of her bed,
staring at her with glowing eyes.
The other girls tried to reassure her that it was just a dream,
but as they settled back to sleep, they heard a creaking noise coming from the hallway.
Suddenly, the door to the room slowly opened,
and the shadowy figure stepped inside...
As the shadowy figure stepped inside the girls' room, they all froze in fear.
It was as if the air had turned cold,
and they could feel the weight of an ominous presence bearing down on them.
The figure slowly made its way towards the girl who had been having nightmares,
and as it got closer, she could see that it was not entirely human.
Its eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, and its skin was as pale as the moon.
The girl tried to scream, but her voice caught in her throat.
The other girls huddled together,
praying for the figure to go away. But it didn't.
It just stood there, staring at them with its glowing eyes.
They could feel its breath on their faces,
and the hairs on their arms stood on end.
Just when they thought they couldn't take it anymore,
the footsteps stopped.
The girls waited in silence, not daring to move.
But then, they heard a whispering voice coming from outside the door.
It was a voice that sounded like it was speaking in tongues,
and it made their blood run cold.
The voice continued for what felt like hours,
until finally, it stopped.
The girls waited until they were sure it was safe,
and then cautiously opened the door.
But there was no one there.
It was as if the midnight visitor had never existed,
and the girls were left wondering
if it had all been a dream.
